 No Christmas celebration in Britain would be complete without Christmas Pudding. As a finale to the traditional meal, the steamed pudding comes to the table flaming after being doused in brandy and set alight. Dim the lights for an even more dramatic effect.

 

Rich and dark, studded with dried fruits plumped with alcohol, the pudding is rich and excellent when drizzled with cream or set alight. Serve in small portions since the pudding is quite decadent.
